I picked up a 22-250 as a trainer and small rodent rifle. I'm looking at several different brand of optics to top it with. I have a NF atacr, Vortex PST, several Leupolds , Bushnell, and weavers all mounted on other rifles.
The optic won't get much turret work due to the caliber, but I'd like something in the 24x that won't break the bank. I've looked at reviews on the Athlon BTR, and Vortex Diamondback Tactical. I also considered a fixed weaver or leupold, but I haven't been able to locate any.

Anybody gone this route. What did you wind up liking.

Thanks

I have a Leupold VX2 6-18X40 on my .22/250 & that magnification is plenty enough imo.

What is the actual budget?

Saying you want something that doesnt break the bank means a Swarovski Z8i to some people!

I have been looking at the Meopta Optika 6 series recently & they look like a decent scopes for a budget line.

I have a Midas 6-24 and am most pleased with it. Reticle is a bit busy.

It's on my 6.5PRC, a perfect match.
