2021 Trophy Thread

This was my sons first elk he's taken with out me being present. The picture with him standing in the fog was him on the phone with me and I could here his knees still shaking haha.
360 yards with 270 wby 150 accubond one shot dropped him.
Not a trophy by inches but it's a trophy to him and that's all that matters !!

God that black bear doesn't look much smaller then the griz or the polar bear! Any ideas on rough weights of the 3 bears? Congrats on a killer season. Going take my post down now, just embarrassing lol

He might have missed school but he sure didn't miss that bull !

I think it looks so big because he's actually in a boat on that lake behind it...

lol black bear and grizzly were both 7'2"
polar bear was a 10 footer
the white one was big, like the size of a horse big. I couldnt believe how wide he was

I'm a bit Southeast of Alpine TX maybe 2 hrs south of Ft. Davis.

Just looked, guessed wrong. I'm about 4hrs from Carlsbad, probably 5.5 from you. Still, cutting the distance by a 1/3 or so!
