2020 Meat Pole

I know there are a LOT more possible contributors to this thread. Now that a lot of the rut-deer hunts in the west are coming to a close.... let's get all of these critters in one spot.
Even if you've already put them somewhere else, post em again.
Moose, deer, elk, sheep, goats, bears.... rascally wabbits....

Multiple hour stalk that ended at 522 yards. Good hunt with my father, couldn't have asked for more.

First day in indiana. Parents farm really isnt that great for deer hunting, but yesterday it was. Meaning the last deer i shot was 20 years ago when walking to the woods. I spent a ton of time in one particular stand site in high school and yesterday i finally killed a deer from it after hunting there off and on for 25 years. Double lunged him, gave him an hr, went out and he jumped up 75 yd from where i shot him. Waited 7 hrs and went out and tracked him. Went about 250 yds total. Not really sure what to do with myself heading into opening day of firearm this saturday and only have doe tags left.
What happened ? Deer cant live with 2 collapsed lungs , unless the broadhead completely failed.

In some cases, they apparently can live an hr. No broadhead failure. 2" entry, 2" exit.
Wow, yall got some tough deer where you live. 2 " broadhead hole that actually connects BOTH lungs where i live makes these deer pass out in less than 30 seconds . A single lung hit deer can live a full life if it gets by without infection .
Im just messing with you because you called double lung , lol. Got lung pics ?
