I've been playing with re 23 and that bullet. 70 gr getting 2960 and pretty impressive. Haven't tried with h1000 yet. Kind of dedicated it to my 212s
Nosler seems to agree 74-78 on their 200gr accubonds. I always take theirs with a grain of salt though

I just laid in a supply of 212eldx 's for my 300WM. Any suggestions on loads and maybe for 220's?
Thanks

I have a 300 Win Mag that is a re-barrelled 300 Wby so I have lots of room to seat the bullet out. My favourite 212 Eld-x load is 79 gr. of Retumbo, Fed. 215 prime, in Win. brass at 3.5 OAL. out of a 24 inch barrel. I get 2970 fps with it and about one inch groups, which is about all I can do with anything that boots me nowadays. That's a max load in my rifle so please start lower and work up to it. It's also quite a compressed load.

I would seriously start at 74 or maybe 73. On those 200s. I had a tight chambered 300 that pressured at about 73 with the 212

Following along I was able to pick up 2 boxes of those same bullets. Looking at using H1000 or H4831SC to find a good load. Also got some new Nosler Brass.

running 565 in my 300win with the 200 eld-x lately in a Browning (so standard mag.) lit by a 215 in older ww brass. first group cloverleaf at 100... now to go out further and check uniformity over the chrono.
