20 moa base with a turret specific

Added a rail mount with 20 moa to a rem 308 vtr rifle, using a turret for 168 gr...does the point of impact change at sight in yardage due to the 20 moa base

If you are asking if you have to sight the rifle/scope in again, then Yes. The rifle will shoot quite a bit higher at 100 yards. You will have to adjust the point of impact down.

If everything stayed the same the new rail would make it 20MOA, about 21 inches higher; 1MOA = 1.047" x 20 =20.94 inches
