I have 2 Remington VSSF II rifles chambered in 223. Both are in like new condition with around 15 - 20 shells shot through each. These make excellent varmint or prairie dog hunting rifles. Both had scopes mounted and then sighted in and put in the safe. Shot factory Hornady 55 gr V-Maxx bullets 1/2 inch at 100 yards. The serial numbers on the 2 guns is only 12 apart. Each will come with a set of Leupold bases and rings. Make me offers for either both or I will split up the pair for the right amount. I know what they are worth. I just sold a NIB in the same caliber for $1900.00 so please keep offers serious.

I sold 1 NIB for 1900.00. But am looking to get about 2600 for the pair. As I know that was probably one of those one off deals..

Maybe you should price one at the store and come to your.own conclusion on whether they are priced right. I bought a 223 compact tactical for about 1100$ and it was new. I'm trying really hard not to be sarcastic, but I have heard there are suckers born every minute.

I wouldn't threaten too much sarcasm. The VSSF is discontinued, so you can't just run down to the local store and price one. Whether the seller's price is in line with the market will be determined by prospective buyers, but comparing a VSSF to something that's available on store shelves is not apples-to-apples.

Well the going rate just a short time ago was about $1050 new.. That's the reason I was asking about the $1900 for the two of them because that would be about right... IMO. But there your rigs and you can price them for what ever you do.

What they are worth and what you paid for them, May be different. I suggest doing some research on this site to see if any other vssf rifles were sold and what they were priced. But unless the action has been trued and has a custom barrel on it that has a box of shells shot through it, you are a bit aggressive in your pricing.

I just sold a 257 wby accumark for 1000.00 with brass bullets and dies u can buy a rem cdl or bdl for around 800.00 here in Tn.

With all due respect, what does any of that have to do with this thread?

Just saying that even though this is a discontinued gun only to a gun collector thy still ant worth that. Is still a factory rem. Which is still a very good gun. To bad it wasn't a 308 in left hand I might consider one.

I guess I don't understand why someone with no interest in an item for sale feels the need to opine on its perceived value.

I have seen many many of these rifles sell for over $1400.00 whether New in Box or not. They are well desired. Much more than a remington 700 sps in 223 or anything i can run to the gun store and buy.

kalindark i'm not trying to be rude and you have all right to post on any thread you want nor am i trying to make any enemies but if you have no interest and are only here to run my "pricing" in the ground, i suggest you do a little research yourself and see what a VSSF II is selling for.

Diver96 you also can do some research on what a VSSF II is selling for and where does a regular ole bdl come in to play??

8 SNAKE thank you for seeing it the same way as me.
