7mmaniac as far as the action go, I would go with the predator. The predator has been opened up for the extended box and if you are wanting to use vld bullets this may make the difference in being able to feed from the magazine or not. The only other differences in the actions are the coatings, the bolt handle, and the TAC is drilled and tapped for the bigger #8 mounting screws. As far as the rest of package, it looks to me like you just might have the perfect long range southeast whitetail rifle. It don't take a cannon to knock out a little 200 lb. deer.
