I've decided to upgrade my optics (substantially) so I'll be selling a couple of rifles. This one is a Sept 1988 (barrel code "DI") 700 KS custom shop rifle in 7mm Rem Mag caliber. The C series serial number matches up with the mfg date so it has not been re-barreled. The bolt and receiver serial numbers also match. The barreled action is wearing a McMillan Hunter Edge stock in olive green with black speckles. The rifle also includes Rem BDL bottom metal and a Shilen trigger set at 2 lbs. 8 oz. pull weight.

LOP: 13-9/16"
Barrel length: 24"
Weight: 6 lbs. 15.8 oz.
McMillan Edge stock weight: 25.7 oz.
The BA is in excellent shape with no major blemishes. The stock is perfect. I do not know the round count as I purchased it used. The bolt jeweling is in very nice condition, without the horizontal scrape marks of a well-used rifle. This is a Remington Custom Shop rifle, so you'd expect good accuracy. When I sighted it in, I got a couple of 1" groups with factory Fusion ammo. In my opinion, it will easily achieve 1/2 MOA with a some load development. I've never seen a KS that didn't shoot 1/2 MOA. Also included are the 30mm medium Talley Lightweight extended rings. These rings will (barely) accept a 56mm scope.
I'm willing to sell this is a complete rifle, or as a barreled action. Frankly, I'd like to keep the McMillan, but will sell it as a complete package. I do not have the original KS stock. I do have the original ADL trigger guard, blind magazine, spring and follower.
$1,650 shipped to your FFL for the rifle. $1,150 for the barreled action which includes the Shilen trigger, BDL floorplate assembly and the ADL assembly. The complete rifle will be shipped disassembled to save on shipping costs. Shipping to Alaska will be $65 more. Your FFL will need to accept the rifle from an individual with ID enclosed.
