Still trying to figure out a way to mark the headline as sold?

This was the first pre-64 Winchester I've ever bought and that was over 25 years ago. (A Jack O'conner gun so to speak.) The metal had been reblued (poorly). But I had the trigger adjusted and took it to the range. I was not disappointed – the gun could shoot! I worked up a load for 140gr Winchester silvertips and this gun has taken white tails in Oklahoma and Texas, Pronghorns in Wyoming, elk and mule deer in Colorado. I had been wanting to put the metal back to it's original blueing and 2 years ago I found a guy who could actually do it correctly. The metal is now back to it's proper state as it came from the factory in 1948 as a transition gun. I really don't want to sell it, but I've got some bills that need to be paid.
