180 ELD-M, 175 ELD-X or 180 Berger

So i've been reloading the 180 berger's and getting about .5 MOA groups. Found some of the Gunwerks 180 ELD-M, factory loads and they are shooting just as well. I'm tempted to see how good I can get them with seating depth for my rifle but my question is...Will 180 ELD-M's do the job on a sheep/mule deer just like a 180 berger or 175 ELD-X would? Or do the match bullets scare you?

The 162 eld-m at 3112 fps did well for me on my whitetail buck

Not my video, uploader says it was a 180 ELD-M out of a 28 Nosler. Looks like it hits him right on the shoulder.

I am going to use them in my 28 Nosler and in my 300 rum this year. I am going to test them on pigs first.

Right in the thick part! I measured 27" of bullet travel through a heavily quartering away white tail with a 147 at 3105 out of my sst. Went in behind the last rib and part of the core exited high in the brisket. Jacket was stuck 3-4" before exit. Lots of internal organ damage! Range about 150 yards......rich

I also had a friend with a 6.5 SS shoot some game last fall with the 147. MV was 3225. Antelope at 1200 yards and elk at around 400. Good performance on both. He said the elk imact blew blood out for 12'.

This thread is old and I don't have much experience with the 180 ELD M except in 284 win but the 175 ELDx performed flawlessly on three elk out of my 28 Nosler @ 3,250 MV from 300 to 650 yards with all three dead right there. The 650 yard shot (cow elk) was dead before she fell in her tracks without even taking a step. I have a 7mm PRC barrel on order that I'll be shooting the 180 eldm factory loads but will shoot the Berger 195 EOL on hopefully dialing in a hunting load for.
