Took Erik antelope hunting today.
We spotted a large heard with multiple bucks. There were three in the group that Erik was willing to take. After a long stalk, with several re-routes, we finally made it to a suitable shooting spot. Look-out doe knew we were there, but only knew something was there.
Biggest problem was that there were so many antelope he couldn't get a clear shot and movement to a better shooting position would put them on the run. Finally, one of the bucks stopped, was semi-quartering and clear of other antelope. Animal went down right where he stood. He was shooting the 7mm SAUM XP-100, shooting 162 A-max. Distance was 210 yards. Dad is quite proud of course.
