140 6.5 bergers

I have a 264wm with a 1 in 9 twist, bergers website says to use a 1 in 8. Has anyone tried them in a 1 in 9. My rifle shoots the 140 amax great, I was just wanting to try the bergers.

I have a 6.5-284 with 1 in 8.5 and it shoots Moly coated140 Bergers like a champ.

SX, YOU SHOOT MOLY COATED BULLETS IN YOUR GUN ? ?? ??? ?? ?
It is my understanding that they will ruin your barrel by cooking a moly film in your barrel that is all but impossibe to get out. Is this not so?

General rule is once you run moly you have to stick with it. The theory is with less friction it will extend the life of your barrel.

As far as the twist, you maight be able to get away with it. Only one way to find out.
