Hi guys, long time no post. Hope you’re all well and having productive hunting seasons. Anyway, I’m out of my precious H4831sc and 130 Accobonds are in short supply. I need to work up an alternative to my pet 51.4 gran charge with the Accobond quick for a Barnes 120 tipped TSX. I got H4831 on hand as well as IMR 4350 and IMR 4831 and gotta make due with what I got. Any suggestions? I’m running a 26” 1:8 twist barrel. Of course I will load check charges down low to start for safety. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

Did you try the same load of H4831 and H4831SC. They are the same powder just different size kernels.

Yeah, thanks but I know from experience that the better load density from the SC yields better results. That said, I was gonna do what you suggest but seems a Stab in the dark with the 120 and its lower BC. Hate to go through components testing but I might just have to put on my Big boy tightie whities and deal with it!
