Has anybody ever tried these out on coyote's? I have no doubt that they are fur destroyers. I will be shooting them out of a 24" bbl .280 Ackley, at whatever speed is most accurate.

Thanks in advance.

I've loaded these for a carbine length 7x57 mauser. Despite being shot from a military barrel with generous chamber, they shot very accurately. I loaded them for the purpose of coyote hunting, but haven't had the opportunity to actually take a yote with them. I would expect them to be very destructive.

No coyotes, but I ran some of them out of a factory Remington in 7 Rem Mag.
They were accurate, and blew up rockchucks with authority.

Do any of you have an idea of how fast you have shot them?

Just trying to figure out how tough the jackets are. I'm looking at shooting them close to 3600-3700. I don't have a chrono so I won't know for sure, but that's book speed.

i took one at 75 yards ,,,it puffed up and fell over when the bullet hit..
small hole in and the bullet never exited...
they were leaving at 3998 + &- 4008
