Have a pretty good deal on a shilen 458 1-14 twist barrel. What do you think about that twist in muzzleloader? Too fast? Goal is to shoot 300 grain conicals

I have a 1-14 45 smokeless and love it. The benefits are more twist helps with stability at long range.

We usually use 1-20 barrels from Brux and we have been more than pleased with the results. Our last build was 1-20 and was holding 3" groups at 700yds. 1-14 is the hunting build that JR Shultz my partner built to shoot a mile. We have found that it stays supersonic quite a bit farther, by increasing the twist.
