1:11 twist for .338 RUM?

I am considering buying a custom built .338 RUM. The only thing holding me back at this point is the 28" Lilja barrel has a 1:11 twist. Id like to primarily shoot 300gr. VLD style bullets. Will this be enough twist to successfully stabilize these bullets? Ive done a ton of reading and it looks to me like 1:9.5-1:10 are the preferred.

Berger recommends 1-10 twist for 300gr.

Yeah, Unfortunately I had to tell the guy thanks but no thanks due to the wrong twist rate. I believe its actually a 1:12 not a 1:11 as Lilja dosent offer a 1:11. I asked him to check the twist rate and he came back with 1:11. Hes shooting 225gr bullets out of it so I'm sure its fine for his purpose.
