I've got several "notify me when in stock" alerts for Midway and other online retailers for reloading supplies. Have you all had any luck with this feature grabbing hard to get items?

I just wish retailers would be honest about what "in stock" means.
In my mind, It doesn't mean that it will ship in 6 weeks.

They haven't worked in a while and Ammo Seek is also a waste of time. Many have moved on to memberships to auto bot sites that report inventory and price change notifications and then we rely on members reporting.
Nope. I found I have to just refresh websites for stock.

So what I'm gathering is even when an item comes in stock they aren't sending out the notifications. Nice lol
I spent an hour setting up alerts for the 3-4 things I need at multiple sites. I have received one notification for primers that were out of stock within 5 minutes. Only thing that has helped me is one of the powder valley heads up I get here.

I've found that by the time the notification is sent it is already sold out. Seen it happen the other day on some H4350.
I happen to see some powder so I started hitting refresh. H4350 popped up so I grabbed 6 lbs. I had it paid for and ended up only getting 4. Must have been the last 4.
By the time I refreshed again after paying to see what else might pop up the h4350 was sold out.
I checked my email and actually recieved a notification with a time stamp that was after the one on my receipt.
So basically it was gone by the time the notification went out.

It's a full time job these days trying to buy reloading supply's. Need to be fast on the draw...

I agree with others have said that you have to be very proactive and that sometimes by the time you login and get to the item it has been sold out or it will read in stock ...but by the time you actually attempt to pay it is no longer in stock. I have had on and off luck with midway mostly for bullets and shooters choice powder. I also have had good luck with Midsouth and Powder Valley as a direct result of the LRH community notifications; although, mostly for handgun pwdr and not so popular rifle pwdr.
