Hunting in Montana this year I had difficulty getting range readings on antelope in fields that had a yellow cut crop, alfalfa or what ever. Could not get accurate range readings around estimated 500 yds or out to estimated 1000 yards. I use 3 different range finders but same problem with each. Any suggestions?

I need any info on a reload for a 300 Wby Mag that will get me over 3200 ft per sec. I want to use a 180 gr bullet. I have reloaded for years and now that I have a Huskemaw scope I want max speed. Can any one suggest powder type, grains etc to achieve this, Bullet type 180 gr Bc etc. Thanks
