Yes, an angle kit is what you will need to get from Davis Tent & Awning. They can tell you exactly what you will need for this tent. The kit that I got from them allows for 5 rafters & legs spaced 4' apart. This provides more roof support during heavy snow vs 4 rafter / legs spaced 5' apart. Give them a call and they will tell you exactly what you will need.

also, I think shipping was about $100ish without the angle kit. I am sure they have negotiated a better shipping rate than I will get. I am expecting shipping will cost me $150-$200.

I'm not familiar with their tents, that's why all the questions. What is the total weight roughly? Which fabric is it? There are not center poles when set up correct? Is the fly canvas w/vinyl or just vinyl?
