I live in the UK, have visited the US a number of times but never had the opportunity to shoot / hunt there much to my chagrin. When I hunt I really like to camp out to maximise outdoor time and to practice skills.
Shoot 300 Wby, 7mm RM, 257 Wby and a few others.

After many years of delibertaing the .300 weatherby now sits in the gun cabinet. The rifle is a Remington Sendero and it is shotting 180 grain barnes X's well, but of course I am now looking for other options. I want to try the Berger VLD hunting bullet.
Keen to gather your experience on suitable powders and most of all overall loaded length that works in the sendero with this bullet.
