I own rifles in both . I have kiOne is a Sako and the other is a Browning A bolt. I also have a Sako in 300 win mag and have harvested 1 cow elk with it. Why only the one, I was just carrying the WSM on my lucky day I guess. All three shoot very accurately. I shoot Federal Trophy Bonded tip in 180.

Cheaper more available brass for 300 wm, but ballistics wise they are pretty similar....your call

I go with a 300weatherby mag you can go anywhere from 220gr round to 150

My brother owns 1 and it's really accurate with accubonds. I'd like to purchase the Remington 700 270 wsm for long distance target. Maybe out to 1000. Any tips on high B.C. bullets and powder?

I own a 7mm Remington magnum. I've shot deer out to almost 6 hundred yards. I wouldn't want to hunt anything further than that. I'd like to target shoot further though. I've been doing ballistic research and I'm very impressed with the speed and Bc bullets

Saw your 300 WSM vs 300 WM post. I have a slightly used Browning Xbolt Pro LR in 300 WM i am looking to sell. Bougtht it last year and has the muzzle brake, thread cap, and a spare magazine. I have about 40 rounds through it (which was the barrel break in) took it hunting but didn't get a chance to shoot at anything.
