Hey Bill , I went back and did a little research to find the article that I got the jack O'Connor's load out of and found out that he started out with the 30-06. And moved to the 270 , I said he had a favorite( load )for the 30-06 and of course when I was 15 years old and just starting to handload and read the load he published ,of course 50 years later I cannot find it.
