I found your post with a search of "varminting .243" on google, and I'm glad to find this forum. I'm struggling to reach out and touch a groundhog at 600 yards with my Savage. Sounds like the struggle is or has been a familiar one for you, so I'd love to strike up a conversation if you're willing. I popped two hogs at 392 the other day, but I think it's time for me to learn wind doping if I'm going to push that envelope.
