just now saw this... sorry but i was using rem brass, cci br2 primer, 38.5gr h4350 and 105amax, before the throat eroded too much it was giving just about 2820 fps. I just rebarreled the rifle to 6br and man its sweet!
Hi, i am new to the site and have been reading some older posts. I saw one post where you had mentioned that you were loading your 243 down a bit and saving on brass stretch. I was wondering if you would mind sharing your load info. I just bought a Savage 243 22" barrel with a 9 1/4 twist also. As a matter of fact, it's still in the UPS system due to be delivered tomorrow. Thanks in advance.
