Looking for some guidance on unit selection in New Mexico for DIY mule deer for me and my daughters (21 & 18). Looking for a good unit with a chance of good deer. We are not afraid to pass on young deer or going home without a deer. Would like to see some deer daily. We live in Texas.
Not really familiar with those units. I have hunted unit 21 for oryx. We didn't see any deer. Unit 2 and Unit in Rio Ariba county are probably the best units in the state.
