I'm going to answer your question without hijacking the thread. You can use std primers in your .44. Just do NOT use them with slow burning powders like 296, H110 etc. they are fine to use with flake (not ball) powders in the fast to mid burning range. Do not ever use them with any ball powder in the .44.
