Hello fellas
I wanted to solicit some input on a brake for my build.. Specs are 338-378wby. 300smks. 27" proof research abs barrel, pierce engineering titanium action .750 bolt, and XLR industries carbon chassis. The point was to make this build light however the recoil will likely be significant so I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for a very/most efficient and light weight brake that is acquirable without super long lead times.. Any input would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks again

I have Titanium Brakes in stock !" angle ports very effective. I put them on 338-378 and 338 Lapua Improved and they have worked great.

I'm a huge Muscle brake fan but if your really concerned about weight sj-pratt on here has a Titanium brake than might suit your build well!!

I type to slow:D

I can post pitures of brake on Proof Research Barrels I do them quite often, any questions just let me know

Thanks for taking a look them.

I have 2 of Steve's breaks and they are the cats meow. Light as a feather and extremely efficient. The cjurrent design makes it so snow or dirt to blow in your face. These are the real deal!

Thanks Steve
I will call Monday to get one on order. I think the barrel will finish at about .890 so the 1.0 should work great.. Thanks again

I just got an Elk Meadow Performance - great brake with no weight to the end of your barrel. My 7 wsm recoils like a 223
