Question for Len re: sponsor

I noticed an ad for Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane on the Style channel on the site this evening. I'm not complaining; but it seems an odd advertiser for LongRangeHunting.com.

But hey, the more revenue coming in, the better. Maybe I should tune in. Wonder if there'll be any scope or rifle ads on Kimora's show?

Hmmm . . . hope I didn't cause any problems for Ms. Kimora. I see there's just a blank space where her ad had been last night. I don't mean to drive sponsors away!

Natty, I checked that out on Google. That ad isn't offensive but sure doesn't fit our profile. Some of our ads are served by a company that selects what they will run without input from LRH. That isn't one they would normally place on our site so now I am curious.

There's 3 side by side ads below the first post in any thread. It was the far left ad of those three. I think I also saw it on the upper right side of the screen another time last night. My recollection is that it was there on about every post I looked at.

This evening I noticed an ad for Revlon on the site. I like the pretty girls. Keep it up!

Well I know im probably in the minority class but I dont like the adds of half naked girls on this site . You might ask why ? well I have a 4 year old daughter that likes to set next to me in the recliner when I view LRH.(she really likes the game cam photos of deer) I am trying to teach her that Ladies dont dress like that ! Its enough that we have to fight the television with all of its immorality . I first found this site I believe 2 years ago maybe 3 and it was as clean as you could get but something has changed . Len I dont mean any disrespect to you but it would be nice if victoria secret adds where not advertised on this site . I have heard people say that this is your living room but in reality it is all of our living rooms as well .

Thanks for the wealth of knowledge that this site brings the hunting and or shooting hobbiest.

Again not trying to offend in any way but just speaking my feelings..........

FWIW, I know we all need to make a living, but for me, LRH is by far my favorite hunting/shooting site and the ads for other stuff like we are talking about really detract from the site. I get tired of something or someone trying to sell something everywhere I turn.
