Eurooptic worked out a deal with me after I purchased some Leica Geovids and they went on sale for $500 off 2 months later. They gave me $500 off on a Zeiss V6 scope without hesitation when I asked if they'd do that for me. It doesn't hurt to ask, so go for it
Is it common to eurooptic to take
Not in my experience. Once something like high end glass goes out and has been opened or used it's hard to get full value back for that item. No harm in trying though. The reason I say not in my experience is I bought a high end scope from them and wanted to send it back, missed the 15 day grace period by a day and was told too bad. That could be an isolated experience though, who knows.
Or last year's models. I have gotten big discounts on old stock when the new year model comes out.
