Which powder? Horniday 6.5 cm 143 grn precision hunter.

I was reluctant, but H4831 works excellent for mine.

Yeah H4831 is another powder people have found to work. I believe there is this internet "Carolina load" out there with H4831 that says it will work in any rifle. If someone has it it's worth a try especially if you can't find any other powders.

With the 147 gr ELD-M and H4350, I am getting about 55 fps more velocity in my 6.5 CM than I did with the factory match load (around 2630 vs 2575 with a 22.4" barrel). My reloads are more accurate, but not by much out to 300 yds.
How many grains of H4350 were you using?

I have switch from H4350 to 6.5 stable because I couldn't find any 4350 and I have been very pleased with the results. Shooting lupu 136gr bullets, with 43.5 Stable 2843fps, fed210, 20" barrel. It meters twice as good because its a ball powder. JMO

Great same issue with h4350 and landed 2# of some 6.5 stable to try out, still have some h4350 hope I can find an equal velocity and point of impact with both. That would be a God sent.

I found h4350 to be more accurate and rl26 to be faster. H4350 i got about 1/4" groups rl26 i for about 1/3" groups

I'm trying to re create the factory load data has anyone figured out what powder and how much to re create this load. Thanks
Closest and best for me is H4350 hands down....just try and find it!!!!! Hornady found the magic in this loaded bullet. If it wasn't for the price and the volume of shooting I do I wouldn't bother reloading for this gun.

Yes their factory loads 147 gr, I could set 5 holes so you could cover with a dime and not see any of the paper Tears around the edge of the Dime.

Loved them at $27 /20. But $76 is stupid Ridiculous

Staball 6.5 gives me about 100fps higher velocity than H4350 in my 7mm-08 at 0.8gr below max Hogdon load data. Two loads appear to have 5 and 6 fps SD, but I've not done enough testing to be sure. It measures great when throwing charges out of a volume measure so it speeds up loading time.

Amen...and the 143s are the same. Most accurate factory bullet I have shot todate...and I'm 65

Yup for the old price it was a great deal but the ammo prices now are nuts.

Here's 5 factory 147 ELD-Ms at 650 yards.
