Crazy is going away?

Went by one of local shops today and shelves did not have everything but they were not bare. This is the second time in the last few months. So just felt good like some of the crazy is leaving

Which shop were you in Buck? I was in Ranger Firearms in Fort Walton last week and they also have a pretty good supply on the shelves...

For a while now powder and bullet selection as well as ammo has been much better. Prices have actually been dropping on components as well. I reload everything so not sure on loaded ammo. Rimfire is starting to come back as well and dropping in price but not near where it was.

Locally more powder but everyone's at $45 a pound for rifle powder.

Yeah, getting better. Is funny though, the small local gun shops have way more supplies and stock than bigger box stored like sportmans and cabelas. I would guess they would have more purchasing power, but obviously they are not as concerned about chasing supplies because they sell a lot of other things.

I'm seeing powder go for 30$/pound both online and in the stores. Mid south had western powders the other day, no limit on what you could buy, wound up ordering 20lbs. Found some Tula primers in stock at lgs for 40$/1000 even

its the scalpers , we gotta quit buying from scalpers , all of their garages are full

the sooner we can get these scalpers to panic about how much flammable inventory they have the better , google house fires ... a great thing to loudly talk about at any reloading isle

end of year holidays and hunting seasons is over. people buying christmas gifts, new year parties, and then tax time. it usually slows this time of year. wait till spring and the start of shooting season and then it will start all over again.

That's where I was at. Another in Alabama are the two that I frequent that have reloading supplies

How bad did that hurt? My 1 pound of h4350 was $51 with tax

Well gentlemen I'm reasonably certain we have at least 3 more years of crazy to look forward to next presidential election is 2024
