Brass Drying Rack

I place mine on a shoe drying rack in the clothes dryer.

I've used test tube trays for years but now just a towel and a fan. Towel and fan or just lay out is easier and just as fast

All great ideas! Keep em coming!

In the summer I put the brass on a towel and set it in the sun.
In the cooler months I set the brass on the hot air register on the floor.
Both methods work great for me!

Put them in the dishwasher, 30 cal and 223 go over the plate prongs quite well but don't use a tablet or solution just a hot wash. I'can get over 100 cases per wash which is ok for me as I don't do too many.
Forgot to say put baking trays over them to stop the water pressure dislodging them.
Run a cleaning cycle after to avoid friction with the permit officer.
They come out as dry as a desert

Step one...on to the towell and make a bag out of it and shake in all directions to get most water out. Step 2..lay out in sun on another DRY towell while doing other projects and rotate or shake again and leave out in direct sun for 3 hours. Step 3...if raining etc use HEAVY cookie sheet(lighter ones will pop and spread brass all over during even low heat) and place in stove or BBQ for 3 hours on lowest heat setting. Step 4...can get creative with heat options...radiant heaters, etc etc etc then when done heating leave them in house for awhile to be sure they are dry. Powder and primers like the cases to be dry inside. Best not be in a hurry. If in a hurry you have to find some way to be sure cases are dry inside. I wait several days......my 2 cents

put them in a big bath towel pick up one side then the other tumbling them then give them a shot of air through the primer hole also works great if your using ss pins

I'm just trying to figure out why your brass is wet. I've reloaded for 20+ years with 15 of them being in Benchrest Competition and even shot in the rain, no soaked brass.
Ok, I've heard of people wet tumbling but again why? Doesn't make the round more accurate.

You ever get tired of cleaning primer pockets? With wet tumbling / SS pins you'll never need to clean another primer pocket. That's why I do it.

I put mine in old aluminum ice cube trays and put them on my electric baseboard heater for a half hour.

LOL I did the same thing. BUT NOW I've graduated to using chamois cloths on the basement floor: one for the brass, and one for the stainless steel pins. I like the idea of the drying rack and have one for when I've cleaned just a small number of pieces. But the old "system" works better for me when I'm running a lot of brass (like 100 or 200 pieces).

Are you married? At least up til you put brass in dishwasher?
