Just an old factory Browning A bolt. Never got it to shoot well with factory ammo so decided to work up a few loads. Now shoots consistent .75 groups at 100

Early '90s Winchester Featherweight pre-64 action, .30-06, Leica 2.5-10x42. Shoots .4moa on pump gas. A mid weight 5pt last season did not take a step. Took a NM elk a few years back at 65yds, DRT.

When you're in the tower w/585 yard visibility, own it. Remington 700 SPS 5R 20" M24 .308, Timney, Magpul Pro 700, Badger RINGS/rail, Schmidt Bender 5-25x56, SilencerCo Harvester 300. Berger Hybrid 175s .3 moa.

Heel stamped Polytech, 308 barrel I spun up from an Obermeyer blank. Navy SSR mount, NXS 2.5x10, and legacy Surefire FA762SS.

Stock is bedded by The Cactus Comet, Art Luppino.

While my earlier post in this thread a few years ago showed my go-to Cooper 6.5x285 for over a dozen years, I wanted emulate my PRS competition 6.5x47 MPA Chassis with a similarly constructed deer rifle, also in 6.5x284.
This MPA/Savage/Criterion set up turned out to be quite an effective and easy to shoot LR deer rifle.

Gonna throw this one into the 'deer mix' this year. Hankins conversion…CVA Scout V2 .45-70 to smokeless muzzleloader. Shoots the Fury 275gr Star Tip 'MZ' into 1.25" at 174 yards w/ a wool wad and 62gr IMR 4198. Muzzle velocity right at 2500 fps.

My go to for deer is my Howa 1500 in .308. All factory. Still has the combo Nikko Sterling optic and shoots 1/2" moa at 100 yards with 150 grain hornady whitetails. My son took a cull buck last season and an antelope at 138 this season.
