Antelope with the girls

What a fun hunt! The whole family was going to go but a couple came down with the 'vid so it became a father daughter(s) hunt. We got it done opening evening. The 7saum is an absolute antelope dream gun. I can't wait for elk in 2 weeks. I was on the tip of the bluff, he was laying next to where I was standing when I took the picture.

What an awesome hunt and I love to see the big smiles on your daughters faces. I have a 10 & 7 yr old girls and can't wait to get them out in the field

Great job dad ! Passing on the fun of hunting . My two daughters, which are in there 30's now still talk about the hunts we went on when they were that age . Lots of great memories your making there . And that's good buck too . Good luck and happy hunting !

Congratulations on a fine family trip!

Nice, wished I had done this with our girls that young. They both can shoot and clean. Looking at doing it now that they are older out the house. Attempting to coordinate it is just hard to do these days. Again wished I had really pushed to have them hunt. They both are very good at fly fishing actually kicking the oldman's butt these days.

This is a trip those young ladies will never forget. Kudos to you for making the time to make a lasting memory with them. Their smiles say it all.

My oldest has been with me for 3 antelope kills plus a couple of hot days sitting in a blind when she was 4-5 years old. She loves it. The factor that holds her back is her ability to hike long distances.


She'll be 10 in October and she just got a franchi affinity compact 20 gauge. We're heading to Kansas for the youth pheasant opener with her 10 month old GSP.
