147 eldm h1000 @57.7 grains in adg brass. 1.5 thou neck tension. Very low sd 3130 fps. Very accurate.

Hornady brass (thinner) can take a little more h1000 to get the same speed.
What barrel length, I've went up to 59 h-1000 with 140 no pressure with hornady brass but my lot of brass is super soft even 55 was leaving a ejector mark.

My Hornadys seemed to print a little as well even though primer was fine. My barrel I 24" savage tactical
Are 147s still having an issue blowing up or did that get resolved ?
I have an older lot of 147s and 1 in 5 disappear from radar

these one feel a little loose after the first firing, I only have wlr primers I believe there just a touch smaller the cci or federal. My m18 has Double ejectors so the head gets marked up pretty quick. Hoping next lot of brass is better. I need to try some factory some day to.

I would like t try the 156s tho I don't have the range to make the bc worth it. I think this gun has the shorter throat since the few 147 eldm I did shoot were2.950 and .020 off the lands.

I'm running the 147 eldm at 2990 with 58.3 of n565 and a cci br2 in lapua brass. 2.950 due to box mag. 22" barrel. Just took 2 axis bucks with it at 220 and 300 yards.

I've taken 8 other deer with the factory hornady 147 loads running at 2860 from the same gun. No complaints.

That's moving for a 22"
