Had an accident.

I have a few old beam scales out at the shop, that are new in the box and collecting dust. I can go take a pic of them and you can pick one....FREE!
Thanks bprcshooter,
Appreciate the offer, but shipping to Australia at the minute is ridiculous and I wouldn't put you out doing so.
I have borrowed my mates beam scale, just have to calibrate it before use.
I have a match on Saturday, it's Friday morning here, so tonight I need 80 rounds and no powder measure…this will be fun!
Haven't loaded without a powder measure for years. Worst thing is Harrel have told me my powder hopper will be months away.
👎

Cheers.

Bah, just fill the cases to the top, shake a little out, then seat the bullet. Surely you're luck is good enough.

Has anyone ever tried measuring smokeless powder by volume? Maybe you could use a pistol case, .44 mag or something. Take apart a loaded cartridge and see how much it fills a pistol case and use it as a volume measure ??

Funny you mention that, have only loaded by volume for years.
Harrel powder measures are calibrated for CC's.
I still check weigh to determine loads from manuals, but once checked, the measure is set and specific gravity is forgotten, SG changes, velocity changes with it, so keep your powder dry and cool.

Cheers.
