SCAM ALERT

Just checked a place out with H1000 in stock. 265.00 for 8 lbs. I asked about payment method and their reply was Pay Pal, Bitcoin, etc.
I promptly replied with SCAM! and left the site. Business is called Mega Mats Reloading. Beware of this place.
Same thing with firearms world in topeka Kansas they have everything from primers to guns on hand including Bitcoin prices are cheap they are having trouble with there credit card system so you have to pay with papal venomo or Bitcoin yea right it's amazing what links these crooked bassssdddd will go to to get your hard earned money. Never had PayPal, if the don't take USPS money order, I don't buy it. Also am wary of new members jumping straight to selling components. A easy tip off is wanting you to communicate by email instead of PM. Probably just me, just too many scammers.

I use Paypal all the time - I also haveit set up so it is on a debit card on a separate cheking account with NO OVERDRAFT protection. I make a purchase, transfer $ to the account and buy. IF someone tries to hack it or overchage it - the transaction is refused and I get a notice. Also work if forgot to transfer enough - but that is an easy fix!!!! It is basically an air-gapped debit card to prevent fraud.

Unless they tag you for breaking their rules regarding firearms and ammunition. Then they seize any money you have in your account and refuse to let you remove any credit cards associated with the account.

What about a scope purchase and bullets for reloading? Are these prohibited? I looked at the rules and it states certain gun parts-is that a scope? Bullets aren't ammo so are they prohibited?
Pls advise thanks

I also use Pay Pal and have not had any trouble with it but it sounds like I better quit using. I was under the impression it was a safe way to pay.
It is safe now days - Paypal pretty much has a handle on this sort of stuff than it did back then. They have better hacking protections, and money back guarantees. The reason they want you to use Paypal is the "pay someone" feature. If you are on a legitimate site, or know the person, no sweat. As for bticoin - no way I would pay that way.

Guys, I just got burnt for $598 on PayPal 6 weeks ago. I had used it for almost a year, off my checking account! No problems, until now! I have since discontinued use. I doubt I'll ever recover those stolen funds!
