What'll you be carrying for spring bear?

Curious here, but why the change of bullets in the mag?
275gr high BC Bulldozer is for longer ranges, which would be loaded single shot style. Too long to fit in the M70 magazine.

225gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claws fit in the magazine, and have tremendous knockdown / knockout effect at closer yardage, when leaving the muzzle at 3,300fps.

I had a friend that was setting up a trip fro him, his two sons and myself for spring bear. The problrm came when they -Canada wanted us to quarantine for two week in there hotels. Then ten days of hunting so the trip would be almost a month cost. No way- We cancelled the trip.
Justin True-doe has only two brain cells, and right now, one of them is out looking for the other one. How do these squirrel-bird morons get put in charge of an entire country?

I wondered if you weren't maybe single loading them.

Side note, I just can't imagine shooting at a unharmed Brownie at anything over 300 yds, but that's just me:)

Yup. I hear that.
In good conditions and in the right setting (good prone rest), long range begins around 500yds. Anything closer is a pot shot. But those conditions have proven few and far between.

The farther they be, the less apt they eat you.

I, ask, why go to Canada, when you can hunt black bear in the lower 48. Do not know, just asking.

generally rather inexpensive and easy for the most part. You go sit in a stand and then put the hammer to one when he comes to the bait bucket
