Arken optics?

I can't say where they are put together ... but they openly declare the glass in the SH line to be Chinese and the EH line to be Japanese ...

I'd be very surprised if the turrets are not from overseas based on the price point ...

All that being said - I've waffled back and forth on buying/trying ... their wait time is ultimately why I went used Burris XTR II instead ... plus I just like the 5x erector a little bit more ... I've also since picked up a used Athlon Ares BTR 2.5-15 ... I'm pleased enough with both of these at this point that I don't regret NOT buying the Arken.

I DID purchase the Arken 34mm rings (and bubble level) though ... and I am very pleased with these - I don't think you can get as good and for sure not better for the money.

Anyone out there using Arken optics? What's your thoughts? Are they really manufactured in the USofA?
Here's what I got from a few months ago when I was doing the same inquiry ...

Leupold may be buying foreign glass, but I think they are about as well as you can do if you want to buy an American made optic. I think Tract might be mostly made here, and maybe there are others that I don't know about, but just about everything in the optics world is made by Asian slaves these days.

Of course there is a huge difference in say the Nightforce stuff made in Japan and the bushnell optics made by disabled Chinese children with mange.

A fellow shooter has a Arken on order and that was last year, not sure if it ever arrived but he also has a Tract that I fell in love with.
Not sure if I would take a chance on Arken but for a little more money the Tract would be my choice.34mm scope tube 4-30 (I think) X56.

Yeah as far as I know they are manufactured in China. The top line Arken use Japanese glass, but are made in China. After this past year I have a personal problem buying anything made there. In many cases it's unavoidable. Last year I made the decision to get a fixed 10X from SWFA. It was the same price as the Arken. The glass is probably better in the Arken as it's new technology vs old. But I find the SWFA useful. Arkens have gone up a little in price so you can find substitutes for a little more money.

I can't speak confidently on where Arken scopes are made. I can say when I went to my gunsmith last year, anther gentleman was in there showing off his Arken SH 4. Without looking at the name on the scope he showed it to me... I thought I was holding a Vortex Razor (yes have had looked through and held them before). I was so impressed with the glass and turrets I ordered one that day.
You will be hard pressed to beat the price point, and after a lot of searching I have yet to read or hear about a bad review.
I believe they are 100% veteran owned and guarantee the tracking on the turrets.
The only complaint I have heard of, and have myself, is they have a hard time keeping them in stock.
Personally I will be purchasing another one this year and won't be thinking twice about it. But do your own research and make your own decision, everyone has different needs and definitions of good, better and best

What I posted in #3 is what I got from Arken.

It's always been my understanding that China is where they are manufactured. And like I said earlier I have a problem buying stuff made in China these days. But guess what? I bought stuff from Harbor Freight about a month ago, so I guess I'm a hypocrite. i will try to buy stuff made from either the USA or other countries than China. But sometimes it's unavoidable.

Sadly, we are inundated with Chinese products, and it is our primary form of communication.

The glass on the EP-4 line is made in Japan but assembled in China.
