Hammer Bullet of the month

We have recently loaded the 199g Hammer Hunter in a couple of diff Browning Hells Canyon 300 rum 8" twist rifle at 3400 fps. This combo is simply amazing.

Here is the load data and shot drops from that rifle.

300 RUM
Gunwerks Brass
F215m Primer
199g Hammer Hunter
Seated to oal of 3.640"
N570 @ 103g
vel of 3390 fps

Zero range= 200y
Drops shot at 785y
Pressure= 25.79 absolute
Temp= 30*
Humidity= 80%
10.5 moa dial up

That puts the bc in this rifle at .329 g7

I am pretty sure you will get good results on penetration. Here are some that passed threw my dirt mound. Sheared petals and kept going as advertised

What velocities do you think that bullet would do in a 300 PRC? More than likely using H1000.

Or, would you recommend a lighter bullet that works better in the PRC?
