I'm looking to build a 6MM ARC Upper. Having a bit of difficulty finding a 22" barrel. I would prefer a fluted steel barrel for this. Anyone have any ideas or recommendations?
Also has anyone had some experience loading this round for an AR with the 85 - 110 gr bullets?

Er shaw for the barrel. I got a 22" from them for about $300. Shoots about .5-.75 moa on average with the Hornady 108gr eldm.

Your best bet for a barrel is probably one of the custom or semi-custom places. Craddock had some at one point I think, but they're just one option off the top of my head.

I shoot a 6mm predator, one of the wildcat older brothers to the arc, with 90gr game changers and 58 vmax.

I like to stick with as temp stable powder as I can, so I give up a little velocity. I like benchmark, but had good results with 8208xbr too.

I'm getting about 2850 with the 90s and 3300 with the 58s. I was doing the secret internet load data searching thing for mine, but there should be plenty of arc load data out now. The other thing I would do is use 6mm ppc max loads for starting-ish loads for the predator/arc.

I recommend calling White Oak Armament. John Holliger is on par with Frank White at Compass Lake.
Both men are superb smiths

I ordered my 6.5 Grendel and soon to order my 6.8 SPC from compass lake. They were awesome to deal with. Hoping the barrel shoots as well as the custom service has been. Will report once it gets here.
