Which neck turning systems does everyone prefer ?

If you have a "factory" chamber, it's not worth it. If you have a "custom barrel" then it's a go, maybe, even with high end brass?
I use the Hornady tool, on once fired brass, then don't have to mess with it til that lot is done.

You are absolutely correct. After fire firming and FL resizing neck turn your entire quantity of brass shell cases. ( kept in a lot)
Done once and you are finished. You won't have to bother with it again until it's time to discard it.
The factory chamber well I for one still prefer to neck turn approximately -.0002" - -.0005" in order to true up my cases necks, I subscribe to the theory of a circle within a circle within a final circle.
Concentricity here is the issue !

Right on!!!

Not being able to find any quality brass for a 25-06 has led me to want to resize Lake City 30-06 brass that I have on hand.
I was told I would definitely have to turn the necks. I have never done this in 40 years of reloading. Am wanting to hear any opinions about who's neck turning systems I should be looking to purchase.
Thanks
memtb is correct. I too find that Forster outside neck turning lathe is a very good choice.

I have both the K&M and PMA neck turner kits. I prefer my PMA as it's much bulkier and easier to grip as well as adjust and setup.

I use my variable speed Dewalt to turn necks, but used my cordless screwdriver for the picture that I use for my COAL trimmers.

As mentioned, custom chambers will benefit from turning necks if needed. If you do with a factory sloppy chamber, just barely skim turn and keep it to a minimum. I have read that it can actually make factory rifles less accurate and didn't seem to benefit my factory Sako 7mm that I did it for.

The more I read the posts, the more I learn. Any day I learn something new is a good day. I have learned from these posts, and confirmed things I was doing. There is a lot on Youtube video that you can fallow by logging in on different items for reloading. You can look at and go across the board on any item. See what they are doing and how others are going the same thing. You can draw your conclusions from there. I note that Squeeeeze has several cutting heads to cut the necks. That a costs, but once you have set the cutter, and the thickness of the neck, you don't have to go back over that bridge again.
