The old trusty Winchester Model 70 Featherweight .243 has now taken the first buck for a third generation of hunters. Mighty huntress, make plenty meat. Double lung. She's 10!

Thanks to all; she really isn't my granddaughter though she might as well be. I taught her father how to fly fish (dead drift), took him on his first goose/duck hunt and his first deer hunt (giant 4 point Mulie). Gave her first "real" fly rig; Winston 4 wt, Hardy reel. Sometimes it feels like life is so good.
