Covid doe

I've been down with Rona for a couple weeks. Got the all clear to go hunting, but only had the afternoon. I was in full grocery mode, happy to tag whatever I found. This doe waited too long at around 40 yards. 105 Berger VLDs are nasty at close range, but no meat loss and she didn't go far.

It's a 6mm Creedmoor, they are right at 3100

Yup, she wasn't Social distancing. Was in a group of 3....and no masks!

it's an MDT XRS. This rifle is a bit heavy to carry around, but so nice to shoot.

Nothing like a little snow to make it seem like deer season! Congrats on twin accomplishments...getting your deer and beating covid, got two at the processors right now with sweet summer sausage, backstraps & loin, thin hindquarter steaks and soon to be made vension jerky.
