Just received a new barrel for my Blaser R8 in 6.5 Weatherby RPM. For those who already have experience with this round, which factory ammo do you like better -- the 127 Barnes or the 140 Hornady, especially in terms of accuracy? Thanks.

i will sacrifice some accuracy anyday for a bullet that performs as well as the barnes, just shot a wt here in sd at 396yd with a 6.5 sherman long 3300fps 127gr lrx and went thru both scapulas and bottom of spine, shoots 3in groups at 500..

I have a WB Carbonmark pro in a 6.5 RPM. Ive shot both the factory 127LRX and the 140 AB. The LRX groups slightly better at 300 yards and was well under the 1MOA. My daughter put a 6X6 elk on the ground at 550yards with it. Love the gun and caliber.

Thanks. I agree that the 127 LRX is a great hunting bullet. I haven't been able to get it to group well with my 26 Nosler, but I'm hoping the RPM will be different.
