OCW test results

Help me decipher the results, thanks

I'm not an ocw pro..
But I'd say 62.1 shows good powder charge...
Tweak oal....
Should be golden

I like to compare where the group is centered between adjacent powder charge weights. In your case this looks to be 62.4 and 62.8.

The center of 62.4, 62.8 and 63.2 are all hitting at the same elevation. So, OCW would dictate that you go with 62.8. 62.8 shows the least amount of vertical, and if you do a seating depth test, you will tighten the group up from "two touching, one out".

What were the numbers with the first 3 loads? I would take the best sd es of the first 3 loads, play with the seating depth to tune it and go with it.

What caliber? Any pressure at 63.6? Powder?

62.8 is where I would start

I'd work between 62.8 and 63.2 and tweak seating to tighten up.

OCW isn't a complex concept but I guess for some people It's kind of like how a simple minded native might react to seeing a flashlight for the first time, he would probably think that it was some kind of magic.

I like 62.1 and 63.4gr. Pretty flat and looks to near the bottom of the node, at first glance.

Yeah? How do you know wether the OP is 10% below max or 2 grains over?

I guess you guys don't concern yourselfs with such things.

I think we are assuming he is in safe parameters regarding pressure. Im not sure why cartridge, powder or bullet change the nodes on paper. Im open to learn though
