Best optics Antifog.

Hello all, a buddy of mine and i are heading to Washington for Columbia blacktails the end of next month. With rain being a likely constant, how or what do some of you suggest for anti fog?

Cat Crap. Yeah, that is the name and I purchased in the optical department at Walmart.

Had to look that name up and confirm, too funny......never remember seeing it at Walmart but will be looking for it next time.

Any one tried the Rain-X? Works on the windshield but haven't gotten the nerve up to try on a scope...

Yes I put rainx on a scope I have on a 22 magnum just to try been several years didn't seem to hurt anything. David

The Rain-X people make a specific Rain-X Anti-fog product for fog. I have used it and it works. Don't know about using the original Rain-X for fog.

It was the rainx anti fog I used didn't make my self clear I put it on a 100 dollar scope after the cat crap didn't work very long to try it because on the bottle I had it said not for optics on it but it didn't change anything that I could tell. David

Cat crap or scope dope works

When I got my Swarovski El Range, and Z5 scope I called Swarovski Customer Service to see what they recommended. The CS agent told me that they recommend "Parkers Perfect" Anti fog. It comes in individual packs that are easy to pack or stick one in your pocket. The packet contains a one-time use towelette that is easy to apply, and seems to work well.
