Thats 5 days ago. He may be hunting. May be a fire fighter. , We could go on and on, Give him a bit of time!! I know it sucks to get ripped off. I along with most here know the feelings involved. Things happen in life that aren't planned.

Sent a barrel out first week of august. Watched mailman pick it up —— tracking never showed that it was picked up by USPS??? ——— fast forward 16 days later it shows that it was picked up and delivered 2k miles away all in the same day!

Being a long time member - and the fact the last time he broke communication was the last time he logged onto this website - I wouldn't be too worried here.

It's pretty common for tracking to "go silent" until something gets delivered.

I've had trouble with UPS on purchasing a scope. Seller kept me highly informed to the point of calling me every day. I had trouble getting a barrel to Karl Feldcamp in Sandpoint Idaho. USPS sent it all the way to Alaska before getting to Karl. Took an extra week. This was 2 day priority.

When I sell on LRH or GunBroker, I always take a picture of the actual package with the prepaid label & tracking number and send a picture to the buyer. This is the courteous thing to do since the buyer has put good faith in the seller to follow through on the sellers part. It's also immediate proof of the sellers intention being genuine. I just believe it's the right thing to do.

I have sold a couple scopes on here and some high end fishing reels on a different site, Always sent a text message of when I was heading to the carrier service and as soon as I shipped item sent a picture of receipt with tracking number and of the package it was sent in. It is hunting season in a lot of places so hopefully it's just not the best communication on his part. I do know most are backed up on shipping especially USPS. Good luck with everything

If you go to USPS and sign up for "INFORMED DELIVERY" you will get a daily email showing you scanned pictures of your mail being delivered that day and all tracking numbers that are arriving today and arriving soon. As soon as a shipping label is created with your address as a destination it's in the system. You can even log in anytime and see this information. Hope this helps!

Slow USPS is one thing, not providing a tracking number is another. I always provide tracking weather is a set of dies or a $3000 rifle. Tracking should always be requested and provided. After that, we are all at the mercy of the shipping company be it USPS, UPS, or whoever. I did a transfer for a guy once who bought a high end shotgun via GB and he never relaxed until he picked it up. No tracking was provided to him and the seller didn't communicate. He was a wreck. I pretty much told him never again, not worth the $25 transfer fee. In the end he received a very nice shotgun and it all worked out. Some of these sellers are just not in a hurry to ship and could do better.

USPS has a free service called Informed Delivery. I signed up with it. As soon as a label is officially created to my shipping name/address, it shows up on my account. The item gets picked up, I get a txt msg. I highly recommend it

Was going to recommend the same. OP, go to www.informeddelivery.com and create an account. I don't remember how long it takes to get verified or if it's instant but you'll even be able to see all packages that are inbound to your address. UPS has a similar service called MyChoice and Fedex as well.

I hope this all works it self out if not I hope karma kicks in and some thing gets infected rots and falls off of him I hate to be this way but I am
