Problem with calcs for 4dof and strelok

Ok, i am not sure just what you are calling bc calculator? 4Dof was designed for Hornady bullets and seems to work better than most apps for them. Most apps that i have been around when entering Hornady bullets, the bullet does not fly as well as the output suggests.
When you open the app there is a button for 4.dof and 1 for BC calculator. I punched in the same numbers on both parts of the app and they came out with different come UPS
 
Based on the fact that your output from the apps are 50% more than your actual dope, Is it possible that you have MOA turrets on a Milliradian scope. That would fit your scenario as I click on MOA scope is approximately 0.25"and one click on an mrad is 0.36".

It could be that vortex put the wrong dials on your scope. Double check the Box model number and model number on the scope body, to see if there are any discrepancies.

Or just shoot a tall target test and verify your distance traveled based on 10 and 20 click intervals
 
You should definitely be in the 17.5-19moa range zeroed at 200 yards I use density altitude so I can't enter your humidity and elevation and stuff but I still come up with 17.5+ moa for 905. Which is normal. Not 12 Moa. Sounds like a definite scope issue to me. Tall target test. 100 yards exactly from the imaginary center point between your muzzle and scope. Dial 10 moa and it should be 10.47". My guess is the correction factor will be nothing close to 1.0. What's your currently getting is like 45% error. (17.93/12.35=1.4518). Tall target test will tell the tale.
 
A zeroing distance error wont account for what you're seeing, you said you zeroed at 200 yards, was that the range of your target, or "true zero" distance ?

Also for other readers who may not know- 4dof doesnt use BC in its solver. Provlem with BC, each bullet BC is different in every rifle and at varying MV. BC is not a set constant !
 
It's usually something with your data inputs/outputs. I have the same, almost identical load, running in a customers 300 win. Here is the drop chart and inputs for a 100 yards zero. This rifle is dead on money.

Has anyone thought of the issue that a Berger bullet and others... that shoot bad at 200 yards will actually stabilize better at longer distances and "settle in" to become more accurate at these longer distances. I have a 30 moa rail and 150 moa of vertical adjustment in my optic and have 105 moa of usable adjustment left once zeroed at 100 yards.... thats a lot of dialing! I don't us it all and a 300 yard zero is what I've changed to.. And also, in 4DOF and Strelok Pro you can verify and correct or validate your shooting as derived in the field with verifed dope added into the program. Another thing, in Strelok Pro make sure you have the "exact" scope picked. I made that error once with my Valdada Recon G2. I picked the wring reticle in mil when there wasn't an option for moa. I sent Igor, the creator of the app, the specs and reticle information for the moa version and he added it. Lastly, I don't know if this would affect thigs but make sure the turret in the scope picked is 1/8 or 1/4 moa clicks. I shoot a 338 LM and Strelok has always been spot on once Verified. I have listened experience with 4DOF. I don't know everything but... I've made those mistakes and tried to have learned from them. Ken.
