If you have a New rifle or New barrel and it shoots that bad, do not waste time or money on it. Spend your time making it their problem.
You will be much happier.

No. I shot 180s out of it as well. And from what I've read people are getting 1k-1mi with 215s out of this set up.
And as I said I worked up from minimum charge and had the same issues at all charges. Just some worse than others.

Live and learn. Next one will be getting some factory match grade ammo put through it first and if it doesn't make their 1MOA guarantee it goes back before I waste such an enormous amount of time and money again.
Bed the action free float the barrel but like mentioned earlier that is not what's causing the ES problems
If its up to 200 fps variance, then your loads arent consistent. Might be your powder scale that is off or not properly balanced.

Ah, this stings the more I think about it. I paid to have a $100 muzzle brake resurfaced and permanently attached. Guess that's gone. Guessing I have to remove the optic and pay to have that all redone. Guess the fire formed modified case I paid to have made will be useless with a new barrel. Things just keep getting added the the "ouch" factor. Unless Bergara conjures up a miracle to make this right I think I'm going to light it on fire and buy a rifle from a different manufacturer. -10/5 stars
I'm sorry for your troubles I hate hearing stories like this when people shell out money for a decent product and end up short changed
don't drive yourself crazy with it have a good smith rebarrel and bed it you will have a better rifle in the end no matter what bergara was going to do about it I have messed with a couple hmr s and had a little hell getting them to shoot bedding helped them a lot and load development got them down to 1/2 moa which was plenty good for the folks that owned them good luck I hope you get it worked out

I hear you but don't jump off the ledge yet. Nothing is going to get worse by giving Bergera a chance to make this right. First step is a call to customer service first thing tomorrow. CALMLY layout the issues and ask for their help. They have been very nice to deal with, just not terribly effective in fixing the issue the first time. After 2 or 3 tries they usually get it right. You are in deep now so all this will cost you is some time and given Corvid most of us have lots of that to spare right now. If you work with them they will eventually make it right.

True, and the very good reason to keep it their problem. Bergera is a pretty expensive way to get an action and mediocre stock for a custom build.

Well, the brake could be a major issue if it wasn't installed correctly.
